Scott – Owner
Scott McVey RMT R.Kin (inactive) is now operating exclusively from Athena Beauty Spa!
Scott has been working within the field of health sciences for over 8 years. A graduate of both the Honors Bachelor of Arts Specialization in Kinesiology at the University of Western Ontario and the Massage Therapy program at Trillium College.
He has a passion for athletics and strives to pass on his knowledge to those that need it! He will be involved in the Canada Games 2022 and was involved with the Olympic trials for Canadian Wrestling as athletes try to qualify for the 2020 Olympic games. He has worked with various athletes from organizations such as the OHL, NHL and Canadian athletes for both hockey and wrestling. He has also worked various sporting events such as the U18 Women’s World Championships, the PGA Tour, Canadian Mackenzie Tour, Henley Regatta, Canadian Open and been the trainer for the Southern Tier Admirals organization as well as the Niagara Falls Jr B Canucks.
He is a current instructor at Trillium College educating the next generation of massage therapists in practical applications of massage, anatomy and physiology, as well as pathologies.
He strives to make the client the center of the treatment with client care being the main focus. He incorporates passive stretching, deep tissue, and his knowledge of athletics to bring about specific treatment for each individual client.
Scott will continue to hone his skills and advance his knowledge in the field of health sciences to continue to provide increasingly precise and accurate treatments for his clientele.

Jackie – RMT
Jackie Anderson graduated from Trillium College in 2019 from the Massage Therapy program with honors & 300 clinical hours. Since then, she’s had the opportunity to open a massage studio and takes pride ensuring every visit meets a high standard of quality.
She is excited to expand her knowledge in this field and is taking courses in order to provide clients with an array of treatments.
Prior to studying Massage Therapy, Jackie completed a 2 year program from Niagara College & spent 6 years as a Physio Assistant within the Niagara region. During that time, she helped patients relieve their pain using various modalities and worked to prevent injuries by collaborating on rehabilitation programs.
As a Healthcare Professional, she loves helping people feel their best and is eager to bring that experience to Athena Beauty Spa!
Jamie – RMT
Jamie is a Registered Massage Therapist trained in many massage techniques and modalities including acupuncture, complete lymphatic drainage, cupping, soft tissue release techniques, practicing reiki level 1 and yoga.
Jamie started her career in healthcare working in rehabilitation as an Occupational therapist assistant and Physiotherapist assistant for the two healthcare systems in Niagara in 2009.
She has experience working with neurological conditions, acute and chronic injuries, orthopedics and geriatrics. Jamie loves running, hiking and has a passion for movement in the human body and sharing her knowledge of health with others, practicing with a focus on strength, stability and balance. Continuing to expand her knowledge base to new practices and experiences.
Nicole – RMT
Nicole graduated from Trillium colleges Massage Therapy program in 2019. Since then her education in manual therapy has continually expanded. With skills in Myofascial Decompression (Cupping), Trigger Point Therapy, and Graston Technique (M1), she believes that each treatment should be tailored to what each individual needs.
Nicole is interested in expanding her education to continuing her Graston Technique training, and adding acupuncture to her treatments. She is currently taking courses to gain her certification in stretch therapy through Performance Stretch Therapy.
Sue – RMT
Sue graduated from the RMT program at Trillium College with honours in 2021. She started her career in healthcare as a cardiovascular technician for close to 20 years for Hamilton Health Sciences. Patient care has been and always will be her main focus while looking forward to personalizing treatments based on her clients’ needs. Sue looks forward to continuing her education to find new techniques to help heal the body. Sue is available Monday-Friday 11am-8pm She can’t wait to get started and treat the needs of the Niagara Region.
Sylviya – RMT
Silviya graduated with honors the Massage therapy program at Trillium College in 2020. She focuses on creating unique treatment plans for each individual client. She uses fascial work, trigger point therapy, stretching techniques to help fix the problem rather than mask it. She recognizes the wholeness of the human body and uses this approach when assessing a treating each client and the personalized issues they are dealing with. Her background in science (master degree in Electrical Engineering) led her to further explore the energy nature of life and of the human body. For the past 10 years, she is involved with pulsed electromagnetic therapy (Ondamed) as well as Reiki, reconnective healing and holistic nutrition. Silviya’s passion for life, healing and helping people in the health and wellness field lead her to continue expanding her knowledge and skills to better serve each and everyone of her clients at Athena Beauty Spa.
Ali – Esthetician
Ali Day is a hardworking and enthusiastic graduate from the Aesthetics program at Niagara College. She specializes in manicures and pedicures and has been perfecting the art of nails for 2 years.
Ali loves giving clients facials, focusing on their skin’s needs making them feel both refreshed and beautiful. Ali strives to leave her clients satisfied with the wide range services provided in the aesthetics field and continues to learn new methods to make her clients feel like a goddess inside and out!
Gina – Esthetician
Being an Esthetician is a passion of mine. For over 15 years I have been helping people in relaxing environments with a large variety of treatments.
Gina graduated in 2005 from The Niagara School of Esthetics. Her focus is providing facial and body treatments, waxing, pedicures, gel nails, microdermabrasion and relaxation massage. She strives to give relaxing services that are also results given.
Gina has worked in various spas in Niagara Falls, Oakville and Mississauga.
Gina is excited to be back at Athena’s where her esthetics career officially began.
Hope – Esthetician
Hope has been an esthetician for about 3 years. Working mainly in the spa environment and also for herself, providing mobile esthetic services. She has a love for skincare and gel nail services. Hope fell in love with esthetics because she love to be able to empower people and ensure people leave feeling better than when they arrived. Hope is honored to be apart of the Athena beauty team!
Jen is an energetic, hard-worker who graduated as an aesthetician from Niagara College in 2019. She is highly skilled in a number of esthetic services and loves hearing about new beauty trends to bring to her clientele! Jen is very excited and eager to join the Athena beauty family & looks forward to meeting each and every one of you.
Natalie – Esthetician
Natalie is an energetic and detailed oriented skin care & esthetics specialist, who has been certified in many great services on Athena’s menu as well as including: microblading, microshading, ombré, dermaplaning, & microneedling. Natalie started her journey in esthetics three years ago with microblading and has continued to improve her skills to cater to her clients beauty needs. Natalie strives to make sure that every time you leave our spa, you leave feeling beautiful inside and out!
Linda – Hairstylist
Linda Want Has Been a hairstylist for 30 years, Graduated out of Sutton Hair of Design Hairdressing school.
Linda has 4 years’ experience educating up and coming hairstylists in practical as well as theory at Professional Academy of Hair Design in Welland, On. Linda’s beliefs are knowledge is power, always open for training and furthering her trade skills.
Molly – Hairstylist
Molly Murphy is a stylist that has been based out of Yorkville, in down town Toronto over the past 3 years.
A graduate from Cappa Institute of hairstyling and aesthetics.
Specializing in cuts, color and highlights. She is enthusiastic and has a passion for all things health wellness and beauty.
Madi – Hairstylist
Madi Hannah is a graduate of St. Clair College and has been practicing hair for 5 years. As a color tech specializing in blondes, this fiery licensed hairstylist started her own on the go business that has helped many in the GTA and Niagara region reach their hair goals! Look to her for that perfect color or balayage!
